Yes, good morning everyone. Thank you for attending the keynotes of the day. And it is our pleasure to have Vishal Sikka here Member of the Executive Management Board of SAP who heads the Products & Innovation. He is also responsible for R&D and Product Development. So really it's a pleasure Vishal to have you here. So thanks for that.

Vishal will run through about 15 minutes of presentation and then we will do a fireside chat and then we will also have the opportunities for you to ask question from the audience and also via the -- your own application as to on the iPad. And SAP has asked me readout the following. This is a brief version of the Safe Harbor statement.

Please note that except for certain information matters discussed during today's presentation may contain forward-looking statements, which are subject to various risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from expectations. The factors that could affect the Company's future financial results are discussed more fully in SAP's most recent filings with the SEC.

And with that I'll hand it over to Vishal. Thank you very much.

Vishal Sikka - Member, Executive Management Board

Good morning. You guys hope reasonably awake. We do have like some kind of a, in addition to lunch and dinner like slot machine coupon or something that you handout or.

I think most of you know about SAP. So I'm responsible for all product development and R&D and I thought I'll give you a little bit of a broader view on what we do and then hopefully there will be lots of interesting questions that we can get into.

The basic opportunity that we see in front of us is best characterized as five mountain thoughts. We have five fundamental areas that we believe are in front of us and that we believe are in our reach.

SAP has been a distinguished partner of Postbank Deutsche Bank and have had a great working relationship. We've been around 42 years and in these 42 years we have become a -- an effectively successful and a very distinguished provider of software to businesses. So you know about the statistics on a -- at any given point in time roughly 70% of the world's GDP touches on SAP systems somewhere. And our heritage our traditional 50,000 or so implementations installations of ERP around the world are largely the backbone of the world's commerce.

But we have also been continuously working in new dimensions, in new areas. Ariba, for example is one of the world's largest marketplaces. But in terms of trading volumes, the only marketplaces bigger than Ariba as far as we can tell are the stock exchanges, the three larger stock exchanges are bigger than Ariba but other than that every year approximately $450 billion worth of traffic goes to Ariba.

So the five fundamental areas that SAP has always been in. But the least generation of technology, these five areas look different, are these five, it is our platform. Today, in today's situation it is the HANA platform. But we have always had a platform. And the difference that SAP always was that we've always focused on the application and the application for the largest commercial driver for the company. But nevertheless, the platform was the foundation on which SAP always stood.

And we always had in terms of applications, these three ambition, the core application. Today the business suite is the core with ERP but as well as the core aspects of CRM, supply chain management, purchasing with SRM, or as Lifecycle Management and so forth as well as core aspects of 25 industries. And we have always had edge applications, which are Gartner referred to them as the System of Innovation or the Systems of Engagement, work through the Systems of Record.
