SAP sees increase in NOLA big data solutions as HANA grows exponentially

German enterprise software giant SAP (NYSE: SAP) is seeing an increasing uptake of its big data solutions in the North of Latin America region (NOLA), as its high performance in-memory appliance HANA grew there by over 300% in Q3, the company's president for NOLA, Gonzalo Benedit, told BNamericas.

The first sector which began using the HANA platform to address big data challenges in the NOLA region was the retail industry.
