SAP reaches out to cloud startups with HANA to prove it's still cool, with it

SAP just ain't cool. There's no way to dance around it: SAP is an old-school enterprise software vendor that's still firmly entrenched in old-school enterprises that are themselves entrenched in old-school enterprise thinking. But in an effort to turn that perception around, the company has banked its future on SAP HANA, its in-memory database and analytics platform, pitching it as the ideal foundation for this newest generation of social, mobile, data-driven applications.
